RCA or HDMI — which should the customer choose?

RCA (CVBS) suits most chartplotters and marine displays with analog input; set the chartplotter to PAL for best image quality. HDMI gives higher resolution and sharper image, ideal for modern MFDs or an external monitor.

Can it see crab traps and buoys?

Yes — the camera excels at identifying traps, buoys and hazards in full color in near-total darkness. Recommend slower nighttime speeds so customers have time to react.

Is it waterproof?

Rated IP68 to IP69, highly resistant to water ingress. It is not designed for underwater operation and must not be submerged.

Are all cables included?

Yes. Standard power/RCA cable is 33 ft (10 m); the HDMI version adds a 16.4 ft (5 m) HDMI cable. Longer cables are sold separately.

How do I reduce noise on analog video?

Secure all connections, use shielded cable, ground camera and display at the same point, and keep cable runs away from radar and radio gear.
